George C. Cutucache

George graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2017 and began his career at the Tenth Judicial District Public Defender Office in Johnson County, Kansas. There, he managed a high-volume felony caseload and handled all phases of litigation. In 2022, he joined the Capital Habeas Defender Office, where he represented individuals sentenced to death in state post-conviction proceedings. His work included managing complex cases, leading multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing comprehensive investigations, and collaborating with experts across various disciplines. George’s experience enables him to deliver focused, strategic representation to achieve his clients’ goals.
