As a licensed Professional Engineer with a decade of experience managing engineering and construction projects for oil refinery owners across the United States, Stacey is uniquely suited to represent clients involved in a wide variety of construction related matters. Having managed construction projects ranging from $10,000 to $775 million, Stacey understands differing levels of project complexity and the necessity for a tailored approach to each case. Ultimately it was the combination of executing contracts, managing risk, and advocating for her project team that led Stacey to pursue a legal career.
During her time in law school, Stacey found her passion for litigation while competing on the UMKC Mock Trial Team. She then gained valuable courtroom experience while interning for the District Attorney’s Office in Johnson County, Kansas where she made 400 court appearances prosecuting domestic violence and DUI cases, including winning a guilty verdict in her first jury trial.
Stacey joins the firm excited to leverage her construction background with her passion for people and litigation to pursue the best outcomes for her clients. When not advocating for clients, Stacey enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, watching football, and loving her two rescue dogs, Gus and Lucy Jane, and her cat Fred.
