SLS attorney Greg Forney successfully defended an orthopedic surgeon in a medical malpractice case in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri. Plaintiff alleged that a hip surgery performed by SLS’s client made plaintiff’s leg too long. Plaintiff’s alleged damages included a second surgery to fix the alleged leg length disparity and a post-operative stroke. After a week-long trial, it took the jury less than one hour to return a unanimous defense verdict in favor of SLS’s client.
